Two projects and a turnkey renovation of two apartments for short-term rentals – this was the request of a client.
“Twin apartments” – that’s what we called the project, because the two spaces have the same layout and arrangement of elements. However, they are distinguished by color accents that make each unique: deep shades of blue for one apartment and fresh green for the other.
The surface area of each apartment is 31 mΒ², and thanks to proper landscaping we managed to use every square meter. At the entrance there is a dressing room for outerwear and shoes, and next to it a large closet for personal belongings and suitcases. For convenience, we placed a full-length mirror in front of the closet, which optically enlarged the apartment space.
Planning
We divided the center of the room into four parts:
- On the left, we are greeted by a kitchen with all the necessary appliances and a dining table;
- The bedroom, which is separated by a wooden partition wall to ensure privacy;
- Functional area with a work desk;
- A seating area with a large sofa that can be converted into an additional bed if needed.
In the bathroom, we placed a shower stall, plumbing, a washer and dryer, over which we successfully hid the boiler, as well as a cabinet for storing bath items. We replaced the traditional towel rack with a warm wall so as not to overload the space.
Carefully planned down to the smallest detail, these two apartments embody the idea of modern and highly functional accommodation for guests seeking quality and comfort.
